Dandelions On Dirt Roads: ft. Corey Mason and Ali Jebeile

27 June, 2018 - 3 July, 2018

American Artist Corey Mason is prominently emerging from a burgeoning generation of Southern contemporary painters with his distinctive human-scaled canvases that carry the influence of his background in Landscape Architecture. His works pulse with the natural quickness and energy of his process, like a material record of the artists’ negotiations with nature and time. Impulsive motion, meditative silence and exploration of landscape painting evoke story. HIs smaller works on paper show an almost unconscious clarity of an explored thought.

Witness flaneur through my subjective and objective, a message always come back to me when I press the slipper: Hope.

The photos are taken outdoors, during daylight. Subjects are people passing randomly, children, the world inhabitants that immortalize in their natural surrounding, adding a bit of my imagination and mostly lots of love.

“I chose black and white, to keep the eye focused on the essential : the look, the emotion and most importantly, the soul of others.”
